With less then 96 hours, the 2d Annual Decani Monastery Serbian Cycling Challenge commences in Petrinje, Serbian Krajina.
Weather is forecasted to remain in the 50's and upper 30's for the low, minus the rain (allegedly!).
Tentatively, there will be a group of Serbian cyclists joining the ride upon entry into Serbia near Kadinjaca Pass and a Pro Triathlete will join in as well.
It can not be promised but will be attempted, a blog will be made available on a day-day basis if the Cycling Challenge is on pace. If not, the best will be done to post the daily briefing.
Digital pictures will be available on a limited basis, but the entire gamut will be uploaded a few weeks later. The same for 35mm pictures, a few weeks later.
To access the blog, click here and you will see the direct link.
I hope you enjoy the commentary that will be posted.
PiP PiP Cherrio!

Saturday, October 02, 2004Beograd Arrival
Arrival into Beograd was smooth with a cool sunny day as we arrived in Novi Beograd to unpack the equipment. There was one catch, sometime between originating city and arrival, the bike was damaged.
The reardrop was bent along with the aluminum frame. Fortunately, we took the bike to Zeljkos shop for excellent repair. Z also fined tuned for some minor adjustments and I was on my way.
View of the city has much improved as the city has become greener and cleaner from years past. Looks like the ride begins Monday in Petrinje, Serbian Krajina.

Can you answer getgoing's question? I didn't see Kosovska Mitrovica specifically listed on your itinerary.
