Ancient history. It's all about the Giants-Dodgers, bottom 9th, 3-2 Giants , 1 out, bases loaded for the Dodgers.
And my A's lost (drat)

Dodgers tie it up. 3-3 in the bottom of the 9th, 1 out.

Goat boy. I saw a guy just like him yesterday. He had the cap, the headphones, and the glasses. All I could think of was the Cubs and wonder how someone could wear that outfit.

What's this, the Bums score three in the bottom of the 9th to tie?

GRAND SLAM! Dodgers win 7-3, clinch the west.
Excuse me while I go console some Giants fans. At least they still have a shot at a wildcard depending how Houston does.

They stink, again. I am so tired of their constant failure. They had the talent to win a lot more games than they did. I blame the season on Prior, Sosa Patterson after the all star break and Dusty for not sitting any of them for an extended period of time. Now, they will launch Alou and Nomar to save some cash and will be lucky to win 84 games next year. They will once again go after someone Else's over hyped refuse and give us more years of dashed hopes. After a lifetime of going to games, I have decided to go no more. They have screwed their fans by making Dawns Creek more important than baseball. I will also not pay those prices for crap anymore. I go to Brewers games to see crap at a lesser price and there is no emotional investment in it for me. I just love baseball. The Cubs hurt my brain.

Hollywood finish, literally!
Giants now got to hope the Astros stumble.
I hope the Giants don't get in. Don't like Bonds.

I'm having a Kirk Gibson-A's '88 flashback.
