And .. while Cahill was saying Cheney was "grumpy" .. it was really Cahill who was the grumpy one because she knew they got their blessed assurance kicked back to the senate.
I loved her comment about Cheney saying he's in the senate a lot and he'd never met Edwards. She grumpily said that she used to work in the senate and she didn't see people sometimes either. But .. 100 people .. how could you not see 100 people at a given time (when there are usually only 50-60 in the senate chambers). The poor woman was totally beside herself.
Not seeing a person in all the people who run around in the Senate is one thing --- not seeing Senators who should be there is quite another thing.
