The Democrats are quick to say that Cheney is a liar because he said he never met Senator Edwards before. They insist that it was a lie rather than a mistake. Apparently no one from their ranks has ever lied...
It's such B.S. It slipped his mind. He's getting older and has already had multiple heart attacks. Being Vice President is a tough job. A lot tougher than Edwards could handle, I'll tell that. I don't think it's so unreasonable for him to forget some trival meeting.
But the liberals have to jump all over it and call him a liar. It's too bad they can't win on the issues...
Dick Cheney was obviously so unimpressed by Edwards that he forgot they had ever met.
If I were Vice President, and happened to shake John Edwards' hand, believe me--it would be forgettable.
The Breck Girl is totally without GRAVITAS.
Cheney most likely overlookd him because of his girly man looks and the fact that he is an empty suit. Cheney didn't remember it because Edwards makes NO impact whatsoever.
Yeah, I agree. The MSM never suggested that it was possible that Cheney forgot and they didn't even ask Cheney spokes people if he forgot or if he sticks to his story. They don't want to report the truth, they just want to report what ever is going to help their guy get elected.
OK troll its not that Cheney is old and senile its that he was making a point about his attendance, or lack there of.
You know what? Who really cares if Cheney mispoke on such an irrelevant thing? The bottom line is that Edwards never shows up to work. That is what most people will care about, but the dems of course have to try and smokescreen the fact that Edwards is a loser as a senator that wants to be 2nd in command. They jump on this totally moronic thing that the REAL VP said and blow it out of proportion in order to get people to forget the real thing Cheney said and that is that Edwards and Kerry are never on the senate floor during key votes on issues.
I'm really getting tired of hearing about this and starting a vanity thread just keeps it going. The news media moved on today, so should you.
The topic of discussion should be about how Kerry and Edwards can't stand up to Howard Dean much less Bin Laden.
I personally take comfort if this is the best arguement that they have.
He (Edwards) STILL hasn't responded to his failure to do the job that he was hired by my fellow (NC) citizens to do....SHOW UP FOR WORK!
Remember, after the first 30 minutes of that debate the other night, Cheney had Edwards repeating himself over and over again ("Halliburton", "Lying", etc). Charges are easy, proof is not. And I am not at all sure that Edwards answered ANY questions (the ones that were asked), after the first 45 minutes.
No one forced you to read his post or respond to it. If you are so tired of it just move on to the other threads and quit ur bitchin!
I did not address you, I addressed the person starting this thread. Now, do not post to me again, ever.
i did it again, what you gonnna do? Cry to mama?? Shooo fly!
Knock it off.
Alllllll righty thennnnn! :-O
I'm curious since I'm new here. Did I break some kind of a rule? Please let me know if I did. It gets kind of old when people are constantly calling us newibies a troll when they have no evidence to back it up. If I broke a rule fine, if not then I'd like to know why you defended that guy?
Bye now. I hope you enjoyed your FR trolling experience.
About this line they use -
I listened to O'Reilly - at the start - with his talking points - and he seemed to be saying it was the people around Kerry calling President Bush a liar - and not Kerry himself. But I could have sworn I saw an ad, that came out right after the first debate, that had something about telling a lie in it and at the end of the ad you got the usual message of - "I'm John Kerry and I approve of this message" -
But even if Kerry hasn't used the word - having the rest of the party do so - isn't a smart move either - in my opinion - it's gutter politics
just thoughts -
