Weber Smokey Mountain (WSM) -- best smoker around

I thought some of you need a break from politics. For those of you who are BBQers or are interested in starting, the WSM is the best smoker money can buy ($179 on Amazon). Yes, it is about 4X as expensive than other water smokers, but the money is well worth it. The temp control is unbelievalbe. You can do 12-18hr cooks without messing with it. The website I listed is dedicated to the WSM. Last week I cooked 2 pork butts, 3 racks and a bunch of sausage links all at the same time. Everything turned out excellent. Many circuit competitors use this grill -- and have won. I like it better than big log burners because of the way it maintains its temp for long periods and it takes up very little space.

Thanks for the break from politics!

I've never owned a smoker, but one question I have is "electric or charcoal?" It seems like charcoal would be a pain to regulate temperature on, whereas with an electric, I'd set the dial and leave it alone. Is there any advantage to charcoal?
