Matt and Ben 'to grow old together'

Matt Damon has admitted that he'll probably grow old with Ben Affleck rather than the woman of his dreams.

Speaking to German magazine Brigitte Damon said he believed in his long term friendship with Affleck and added: "I can well imagine growing old with him."

He also said that it was unlikely a woman would come between them. "My longest relationship with a woman lasted two and a half years. That's very short when I consider how long I've been friends with Ben," he said.

The actor, who wrote and starred in Good Will Hunting together with Affleck, also stood by his best mate during his engagement and subsequent break-up to Jennifer Lopez.

"Despite all the rumours I liked and still do like Jennifer Lopez. I would never judge the woman at Ben's side and expect the same from him," said Damon.

Those two are so deep in the closet that they're finding Christmas presents.

I've always wondered about those two, Matt Damon especially. Well I'm happy they will always have each other on those cold dark nights in the future.

OK...so they are buddies. Both idiots ...well suited for one another. Hanging out is life and all that.

However...a woman and children can change a lot of that. They are both still young.

I get the point though...Damon acts homosexual to a degree.

Wait, they aren't ambiguous...

Damon didn't get the memo? If John Kerry is elected, people will no longer have to worry about growing old.

These guys personify the metrosexual male. They are living proof of the feminization of the American man. Sensitive, vulnerable and yielding. This is what the Clinton years did to male population. The "manly" leading man such as Tom Sellek, Bruce Willis, Arnold have been replaced with David Schwimmer, Matthew Perry, Jude Law and Matt Damon, to name a few. We have gone from cops and robber shows to Queer Eye for the straight gut and Will and grace. Hope the trend turns or else in 10 years wearing a skirt will be accepted

Poor Jennifer Lopez never had a chance of joining that Boy's Club.

I don't know. I had a best friend I grew up with and did business around the world with till my mid 30s and then real life (wife and kids) starts to take over.

I do understand the concept of close non-homosexual male friends from early youth...it happens.

Is Damon ever paparazzi-ed with girls....I know Ben the dunce is everywhere.

Yeah, right. Look at their list of ass and compare it to yours...

Damon's right though....woman come and go throughout a man's life but a true friend can stay there foreever.

Oh, please. Elton John was once engaged to a woman. The only thing that hasn't been decided between those two is which one will wear the dress at the wedding.
