While I don't agree with O'Reilly on 1/2 of his talking points, I do believe he is good for "Fair & Balanced" News but if true, everyone has to "Pay the Piper", at some point in their life. Let's pray this isn't true, but the complaint is pretty convincing.
Sorry but after he trashed Bush on his National Guard record and completely ignored the Swift Vets, he can go to hell! Give his slot to Linda Vester. A much much better interviewer and 10 times tougher than O'Reilly
Complaints usually are. That is why there are answers, counterclaims and trials.
After reading the complaint, you pretty much have to be convinced she has him on tape.
Unless this is a vanity posting, could you link the article or the complaint, so that the rest of us can see it?
Thanks.
I just can't believe this! I guess we are all human after all......... :(
Does anyone really care what happens to Oreally?
Couldn't happen to a bigger jerk!
He's a narcissist. So he probably thinks he can get away with anything - like Clinton. That's why I think there's some truth in it... Although he isn't being accused of doing anything HORRIBLE by the way. He didn't assault anyone did he?
I agree.
I am reserving judgement for the time being about either parties motive.
I am inclined to agree. Those sound like pretty direct quotes- and I do think they have it on tape. It might be out of context and therefore not sexual harrassment, but it sounds like he's a perv and not a very good husband (if it is verified).
I should probably learn the rules for free republic? This is a "Vanity" posting. Is that a no, no? I won't do it again if that's the case. Thanks
Sheesh.
Why? O'Reilly's not a friend of mine...nor has he done anything to deserve my prayers.
If he's guilty I hope he goes down.
If he's not I hope his accuser gets sued for slander, defamation of character and extortion.
My wife told me a month ago she thought O'Reilly a mysoginist. She's a psychologist and not one for hyperbole.
I'm betting more women will be coming forward.
He thought he was bullet-proof, if this is true.
If O'Reilly taught me one thing, it's that fair and balanced is good. SO, as much as I would like to support Bill, e-mail his sponsors, and give him words of comfort, I really cannot. That wouldn't be fair and balanced. Thanks Bill, for setting me straight.
Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.
His point (as I saw it): Is it really illegal to talk dirty?
It's not like he said her job depends on how she reacts.
The point is, whatever you think of O'R, can't we be a little perverted at times without going to jail or getting sued?
