Political Human Sacrifice

Posted on 10/20/2004 12:24:27 PM PDT by der Hund

What do you guys think of KFI 640 John and Ken Political Human Sacrifice. Yesteray John and Ken mentioned that Hugh Hewitt is bad mouthing them at appearances in Orange County because Hugh is loyal to his buddy David Drier and also does not like to discuss the alien invasion. Is anybody outside of So. Ca following this???

I've never heard Hugh discuss John and Ken on the radio. If he has, I missed it.

Sounds out of character, IMHO.

I think it is an interesting experiment in putting the power back in the people. From what I can remember, John and Ken had their listeners vote on who to sacrifice, right?

They're not saying he talked about them on air. They're saying he made a comment about them at an Orange County Republicans meeting.

I think John and Ken are right in that Hugh is pretty much a shill for the Republicans but...

I also think Hugh's assessment that J&K are Nihlists is correct...

They just happen to be darn effective nihlists...

John and Ken are self serving rating whores.

They are playing all this for their fame and they really do care...about their bank account.

No, we don't vote out the Republicans and do vote against Democrats.

As far as immigration, protest and embarrass them. Don't put Democrats in power more so over it, that is idiotic.

I don't agree with everything they say, they have a very simplistic view of politics... but the Governor's recall and now the political human sacrifice are the ONLY two examples that I can think of where grassroots type movements have effected serious change (or in the case of PHS will effect).

Disagree with their tactics, call them arrogant but they are not morons.

When Dreir gets ousted every 10 year plus Sr. Republican senator and congressman will take note. John and Ken aren't out to make a point and move on. They have committed to do this election after election until Washington gets the picture that illegal immigration is killing California.

They should be concentrating on ousting DEMOCRATS. Period.

I agree that we have to stand up to the dims but how about holding Reps accountable for there actions (inactions) as well (in this case Drier has been in congress over 20 years and done squat about the cross border invasion)

Drier may not be doing enough to your liking, but I'd rather keep a loyal Republican who will support the President's agenda than replace him with a Democrat who will work against the President's agenda.

And even though Drier may not be doing all that you like on this one issue of immigration, any Democrat he was replaced with would be standing on the sideline by the border handing out cups of water and Gatoraide to the illegals crossing as if it they were running in a marathon.

HH is a great guy, but his strategy is 100% RNC rah-rah, all the time.

I support the J&K Political Human Sacrifice. If Dreier loses, the political aftershocks may put some backbone into our gutless RINOs in "safe" seats.

Remember, J&K led the charge for the recall petition, which led to the defeat of Gray Davis and the victory of Arnold.

Those "morons" led the drive which resulted in the unseating of the governor of Cali.

That's pretty good, for "morons."

No they didn't.
At least the hosts on my local Bay Area talk radio station would disagree.
So would Ted Costa.

They are applying equal pressure to both sides.
They are ousting a democrat and a republican.
You (being a californian) should see the importance of the issue. If the republicans won't do anything about it, they shouldn't be in office. They are supposed to represent their constituents, not run the party line on every issue. We need more Representatives liek Tom Tancredo in California.
