Charlie Cook on WMAL - I am freaking out a bit
WMAL Morning News ^ | 10/27/04 | Perdogg

Posted on 10/27/2004 4:14:26 AM PDT by Perdogg

I was listening to WMAL this morning and I was freaked out by Charlie Cook's comment. I know he's a demonrat, but still, he said that he felt the race was shifting towards sKerry.

I am getting a bit freaked. I think Bush will win, but why must we sweat it out??

I suggest turning off the media for the next week. Go with what your instincts are telling you about this race.

Also, call people who may be on the fence, volunteer at your local GOP office, or drive Bush people to the polls.

My instinct tells me that there is no way that we will elect a Socialist for President. I think you feel the same way as well. Action is the best cure for nerves! Have faith - it will be alright.

Look, if you didn't care what happens to this country, you wouldn't be sweating. Instead, thank the Lord you still have active sweat glands and get back to work re-electing our President! ;^D

Geez, how many of these "please tell me everything's okay" vanity posts are we going to have to endure for the next week?

I believe it was Zogby who said yesterday that of the people they have polled who voted early, Bush leads 51-49.
If he's leading in the early voting he's a cinch.

Get out and vote.

Sheesh. So? You're freaking out and you want the rest of us to join you?

Toughen up, will ya?

We don't have the time to coddle and make everyone around here feel better. Get out there and vote! Make sure everyone you know that can vote and will vote for President Bush will do so.

Pray! Pray! Pray!

When you feel you can't take it anymore, pray some more.

Now look. I'm going to say this to you for your own good, because you seem like a good FReeper. You DO know, don't you that the "He loves me, he loves me not" daisy plucking isn't real? Same thing with "He's going to be elected, he's not going to be elected". Please, I beg you, PLEASE, take a chill pill. It's going to be O.K. :)

I heard it on the way in to work, but I know Charlie Cook's postition. He was just being a partisan Democrat. That was just a personal opinion of his. He was basing this on the washintonpost poll which showed Kerry up by 2 points.

Kerry needs a "surge" to win because he is behind. Bush will gain until Tuesday and win going away. 300+ EV's.

Good. Maybe the lazy dems will just stay home, smoke their bongs, and "feel" that the other guy will vote...

I also heard it this morning. Although he "felt" movement to Kerry he would NOT predict the winner even when pressed. Please everyone get out the GW vote! No discouragement allowed...that's what this is designed to do.

Kerry IS a socialist and is having a lot of trouble disguising it. Clinton won because of charisma, youthful looks, catchphrases and Ross Perot.

Kerry has NONE of these.

Don't sweat the small stuff. I found out yesterday that I was picked to coach the 8-9 year old All Star soccer team for my county. Our first All Star game we're playing against a team whose coach is paid $50 an hour to teach kids how to play soccer. Now that's something to sweat about! Bush is going to win this election, regardless of what Cook or any other Dem liar has to say. But soccer - now that's something to worry over!
