Wow - this is good news.

I was lookikng at dish network but balked at subscribing because I wuld have to pay so much extra for fox news. Besides fox, there's not much I'd really watch on a regular basis other than the history channel.

But I wonder if it is a temporary deal that will be taken away after the election.

Sometimes we on Dish get movie packages for a week or so as a promotion.

I have basic Dish Network, and have been griping off and on for five years. I get two CNNs and no Fox. If my memory serves me, Dish Network added Fox during the last election. I think they left it on for a week or so. I think.

please keep us informed because many of us might consider dish network ONLY if they keep FNC on their most basic tier.

as far as I know Rupert/directv does not offer any low-cost tier
