The Day After

Posted on 10/30/2004 9:11:27 AM PDT by Wyrm

If on November 3rd , the sun comes up and Kerry is the president elect what will you do ?

Not to say that I think he will will , but if he does pull off a win by hook or crook what will your response be?

Personally I am going to say to beep with the rest of the world and my fellow leftist Americans and spend the next four years demanding the troops be brought home because I sure as hell don't want them out there with a group in charge like the one Kerry has riding in with him. They made their stand about how they felt about this war ( although they changed their minds about it in public to get more votes and not scare off the rare undecided voter ) we all know what they still stand for. USA = Bad , United Nations = Good , Europe = Future

PS pardon this rant but the news just gets me down some days :(

I don't like the premise of this question, but as for me, I'd buy stock in Imodium.

I do not like the premise either but it has to be asked.

I will love my country, criticize Kerry's domestic agenda, politely disagree with his use of the military, but I will not unnecessarily criticize the commander-in-chief. At least we should have learned that lesson, no matter what side we fall on. But George Bush is gonna clean up come Tuesday.

I'll be watching the terrorists on t.v. shooting off their guns and showing how excited they are at how weak America is.

Be happy that Ms. Clinton will never be our president.

It will be a blow, particularly for the supreme court. But increasingly the red state/blue state division is about cultural values, and unlike in the 1960s we have the youth on our side. I don't think the US will become a post-Christian secular nation like Europe. In that sense it doesn't really matter if we lose one election.

But still get out and vote for Bush!

I've seen this bring Kerry to justice line a lot.

But practically speaking, that just means President Edwards.

Do you want that?? I don't know enough to really judge them two evils. Maybe you do..

Crawl backunder the covers and hope it is a bad dream. If not, I'll survive. If we survived Carter and B Clinton, Kerry should be survivable.

Bush will win by a huge margin.

Kerry will slip into a psychotic fantasy. and his wife will spend the rest of her days playing white house and her servants will be forced to pretend they're "president Kerry's" cabinet members.

I would despise the man (Kerry) but respect the office. I would work harder to ensure that the House and Senate remain in the hands of the Republicans. I would build support for the 2008 Republican Presidential candidate.

I don't think that we have to worry, however. Here's to four more years with President George W. Bush!

As for me.
I will be a stick in the mud for 4 years.
I will NEVER accept Kerry as my President.
I will be the MSM in reverse.
I will work twice as hard for Republican causes as in the past.
I will join a succession movement for the South.
The main thing I will do is try an get voting simplification laws passed. A card like a Drivers licens with picture for all voters and the voter number be the social security number and be with a debit-type card into a computer than prints out a slip (cash register type receipt) for droping into the box.
I think if we made voting as sure as ATM cards are.
Democraps would never win any election.

Oh yeah one last thing..... I would fight for all taxes being paid by personal billing to citizens. If we did away with payroll deduction and the "idoits" could see that they actually have to pay for all these Democrap socialist programs the Democraps would never ever win anything again.

Too bad however none of this is gong to happen though - BUSH WINS IN A LANDSLIDE!

I have it straight from the horse's mouth (Neil Cavuto): if Bush wins buy hI-TECH, if Kerry wins sell Haliburton. For myself, I'm an old Devil-dog who took his oath to the Constitution, not to the President, but I'll back the holder of that office as properly chosen by our electoral system... until such time as he betrays that trust. Then I'll drop him like a bad habit, just as with Carter, CLinton, and others before them; without offending that constitution. The important "Doing" part has to take place beFORE the election. Not after. After... we'll do our best with what we have...
