Which Has-Been Would You Vote Off? (Vanity)
October 30, 2004 | Zebra

Posted on 10/30/2004 3:02:18 PM PDT by Zebra

Now that Uncle Walter has given us his Capricorn One moment today with his insane claim that Karl Rove conjured up Osama bin Laden for the recent video, which of the following has-beens would you vote off of the national stage for good:

1. Jimmy Carter

2. Bill Clinton

3. Al Gore

4. Walter Cronkite

5. Other (write in)

TOPICS:
KEYWORDS:
As far as write-ins go, the criteria is that the person must have exited career or office; thus, someone like Hillary Clinton is ineligible. Enjoy!

Perhaps Carter - He failed as a President - and now he continues to remind us of that - with his current actions -

Wow, do I only get one choice. I consider everybody on your list equally slimey. And about 1000 richly deserve the write-in. Tough choice.

Hey, Carter at least (insofar as I can tell) had the best interests of America at heart when he made policy. He was simply wrong almost all of the time; however, that wasn't for a lack of trying. Clinton basically ignored threats to our national security and even sold nuclear secrets to China for campaign cash. But Cronkite--didn't he commit serial sedition that en-heartened the Viet Cong before John Kerry took the job of senior enemy propagandist?

Cronkite will die soon anyway.

Clinton would never be the bold, unabashed communist dictator butt-kisser that Carter is.

Gore is a joke. Another forty pounds and some clown makeup and he'll actually be a nice addition to a national sideshow.

Carter, though he will probably die soon as well, is by far the bigger embarrassment. I'm for purging his name, Stalin-style, from all human history for all time.

Yeah, but Carter's idea of the best interests of America was to explain to us that we were no longer the major world power, and the sooner we grew up and dealt with it, the better off we'd all be. Cold? Wear a sweater.

The man was poison in the marrow of our collective bones...

No, it has to be Clinton because of his inexplicable potency. Too many maroons adore the cretin.

I'd vote Gore off cause he's a pompous ass & he would eat all the food on the island. Cronkite's got to die one day soon, Clinton at least has a good personality, and I could talk carpentry w/ Carter & hit him with his hammer if he strayed off topic.

Breaking news?

I don't know. Cronkite's nuttiness came out today, and it is so bizarre as to be breaking news in some way.
