Stung by widespread negative media stereotypes, many of America's Muslims will take to mainstream movie theatars in New York and elsewhere to mark the end of their holy month of Ramadan with a groundbreaking, full-length animated feature called "Muhammad: The Last Prophet."
The November screening of the children's film coincides with Eid al-Fitr, the feast that concludes Ramadan. Distributors of the film are taking their cue from Christian filmmakers, although no one connected with the 90-minute cartoon expects its limited run to duplicate the half-billion-dollar success of Mel Gibson's "The Passion of the Christ."

I thought the Sunni doesn't allow Mohammad's face to be featured in any medium? That's why a movie in 1970s, "The Message", about the rise of Islam, only had Mohammad's leg riding a camel...
The animation is done from Muhammeds point of view, as if you were looking through his eyes, I believe.
