I’m sorry, but I am afraid.
With all the predication threads, how about one with when will the election be called. With all the Dimocrats dirty tricks (which have already begun) and their lawyers by the tens of thousands in the battleground states; I predict this election will not be over until January 12, 2005.
I also predict it will be won in the courtroom again, but not in the Supreme Court but in a half dozen state courts. The victory will go to which every side has the better lawyers.
I hope I am wrong.

We will know who the winner is tomorrow night. The election will be over when the electoral college meets.
I'm going for 11/02/04. I'm praying it will be a landslide.

My prediction: If the Prez wins the popular vote by 5 or more points, it will be over as soon as the States certify their results.
I read an article that said the dems are going to challenge any state that isn't more than a 3 point vicotry for Bush. If true, and it wouldnt surprise me being how bitter they are, it's to take forever.

The election will be called tomorrow night by midnight.
Florida has electronic voting. We will know early.
If the President has won Florida, he will have won the election.
If he has lost Florida, it will be a bad night.
Since the election will be decided in the Eastern Time Zone (where Pennsylvania, Florida and Ohio all are), we'll know early.
The time-zone jiggering by the media won't work this time, because the only two states possibly affected are Florida with its panhandle, and the Western tip of Michigan's Upper Peninsula.
There are maybe 20,000 people in the Western U.P. of Michigan, and they are not going to tip the state of Michigan either way.
The Florida panhandle could, but Bush voters in the Panhandle got screwed last time, and they are going to ignore any call of Florida this time and vote.
The MSM calling elections early cannot change the result this time, unless they start calling Eastern states before the polls close, or do something bogus like calling Virginia for the Democrat based on no data. In other words, if they fabricate data and call the elections before the polls close, they could have an effect, but they are not going to go that far.
The election will be over by about 10-11 PM, when the Florida results are in.
The President will win by a margin big enuff no mess will happen...I HAVE to believe this because when folks get in that voting booth alone, I think they'll do the right thing and vote for Pres Bush ...

Hate to be contrarian, but it won't be over until 1/4/2005, 1:23 pm EST after the House and Senate sort through competing slates of Electoral College votes sent by places like Wisconsin.
If they try, it will be a decidedly foolish move on their part. The public's opinion will change from the belief that 2000 was a legitimate challenge to the belief that the Dems are a bunch of sore losers who will do anything for power.
There's a part of me that hopes they do file lawsuits in multiple states. It'll continue their demise.
Not if the turn out of the people matches the vote results - I see President Bush winning by a very large number -
Nov. 3rd - unless the DNC, major media, and the corrupt members of the Congress pull something -
It's also been heavy here in Kansas this week. Who are these people??
I believe the Lawyers will be disappointed to have nothing to do in regards to the presidency. The legal headaches will be in close Senate races.

Today was last day for early voting. It's not surprising. Ever waited until the last day of the month to register your vehicle? Some folks just realized they are entitled to a couple of hours time off tomorrow to vote. Their plan was to do it on their lunch hour today and come in late or cut out early tomorrow. Some would have waited it out and some would have bailed.
