Help! Someone please explain this to me. Some Dims in my office have been following this offshore gambling website and now they're all excited.

They are all betting based on Zogby?

The votes are cast and soon to be counted. Who the hell cares about tradesports at this point?

He is even further down at intrade - last bid at 27
It was at 57 this morning....

This correlates with the IEM movement. The Bush contracts are well under 30.

Want to make money? Buy Bush.

That anyone actually would care what happens on an easily manipulated website, let alone a Redskins game, just astounds me.
Memo to morons: only the votes count.

The Dims are driving this game (and that's all it is....a game). Wait for the polls to close. Republicans vote absentee in LARGE numbers and those are not figured in exit polling.
I stand by my original prediction: Bush: 56% Kerry: 42% Nader: 2%
To: True Capitalist
BUY BUY BUY!!
this is only a result of those early exit polls, its laughable how they would drop 20 points. Bush WILL WIN Florida and Ohio, that means we WIN!

Unfortunately, since Tradesports is an all or nothing bet, the volatility once newsflow starts circulating is going to be huge. I believe that tradesports is good leading up to an election, but if the only possible outcomes are $0.00 or $100 (possibly within 12 hours), any newsflow will cause the prices to move dramatically either way.
Just one person's perspective.
To: True Capitalist
If they thought Kerry was a slam dunk then Kerry shares would be higher.
Trade Sport seems to be off line now.
