Mohammed rewrote the Judeo-Christian Bible to suit his purposes (convert the masses into an army). He affirmed the existence of Jesus but denied His divinity and the resurrection (as secular humanists do, when you can find one who concedes that He actually lived). In doing so Mohammed leads the flock astray from the Lord, serving a false prophet. This is why I say it is a religion of THE antiChrist. A billion followers on the wrong path if we are to believe the numbers.
Lovely little death cult, Islam is. The more radical they become in converting people by the sword, the more pressing the need there is to suppress Islam (or at least fight back). It is the one sure sign that all Imam believe is a signal to declare jihad (physical holy war, make no doubt about the meaning, see Ask the Imam). So the more you need to get a lock on the religion of violence, the more violent it becomes.
Also Mohammed called himself the LAST prophet. There can be no reformation of Islam because mad man Mo' declared himself THE END ALL AND BE ALL of religion.
The Jews are still awaiting the first coming of the Lord. The Christians are awaiting the second coming of the Lord. When He returns, we will all be His followers. Unfortunately the AntiChrist is supposed to come and lead many astray in the name of good (people are supposed to accept him AS they would Christ). What is the timeline we are talking about? Was Mohammed the AntiChrist with his armies surging into the Western world every so many hundred years? Is there a bigger threat looming in the future?
I can live alongside a defanged Islam but there MUST be a reformation movement and far too many muslims are silent (or quietly in support of global terrorism). Islam cannot be the only religion in a nation; people must be permitted to have religious freedom. The freedom to choose their path EVEN IF THEY END OF FOLLOWING A FALSE god. There cannot be 3 classes of people muslim, Judeo-Christian, and "everyone else" (infidel) as there is under Islamic law (which Islamic nations establish as STATE law).
I can co-exist with Jews, Buddhists, Hindus, wiccan, pagans, agnostics, atheists... the one that seems to have a problem with all other religions is Islam. There are 34 armed conflicts in the world. How many of those engagements involved muslims?
You may cite that Christianity had some periods of oppression but there was criticism and a reformation. You will not find these in Islam. Theo Van Gogh (Vincent's brother)'s great-great-... grandson was murdered for making films critical of Islam. Such intimidation keeps people from speaking out and calling for reforms.
There is more solid opposition in Islam to mosques and clerics that accept homosexuality than there is to those that espouse violence and supremacy.
In closing I leave you with this troubling question:If you pass a silent and odorless fart, does it still invalidate your prayers?
