Yes, Well Said!

Many secular liberals may just experience an epiphany, pondering their own gun rights. For all their lives, they assumed a liberal activist government was sufficient for the business of gun toting.

The left has become interested in THEIR gun ownership, ONLY because they are in shock over the recent political setbacks.

Apparently they are considering a violent overthrow of our Republic...

If they attempt that - we can deal with the disease..
It can be permanently excised...

Yep, this may actually wake up some liberals.

Next thing you know they'll be lurking on gun boards and hanging out at ranges.

Pretty soon, they won't be liberal any more.

I'm not sure if I want them at any ranges I'm at though.

I think most of these hysterical 'rats think that Bush and Ashcroft are going to start loading them on trains to camps.

They couldn't overthrow a laundromat. The "DC sniper" type of operation would be their style.

Owning a gun doesn't do you much good if you hardly know how to use it. Let me see... a lifetime of experience and skill versus a bunch of liberal noobs...

Bring it on!

Might as well get it out in the open.

They've got about 200 million guns catching up to do.

I am saddened that they lied about leaving our country if Bush won......

But happy they are thinking about needing the 2nd to keep this nation free ! Even if it is their own warpped sense of "free"......we can always fix that with rounds sent down range !

Do you think they know which end the bullet comes out of?

Neat!! That's exactly how I - in my former liberal incarnation - justified owning my guns. After all, we had to have guns to protect us against you redneck rubes.

The problem with owning guns is that after they fail to rise up out of your closet and stalk you (laughing evilly) through your house before shooting you to death or turn you into a rampaging zombie, you eventually want to go shoot them.

Then you enjoy it.

Then you want a couple more guns.

Then you associate with gun owners.

Then the liberals in Congress try to take away your guns, despite that you know that it's not your guns that are the problem.

Then the false consciousness (that's a lefty-marxist phrase we used to sling around a lot) can no longer withstand the cognitive dissonance. Your liberal brain filter breaks.

Then you join the NRA.

Then you start a viscious cycle of getting more disgusted with the liberal stupidity on guns.

Then, it's no longer a question of having guns "come the revolution". You suddenly wake up in the voting booth having just pulled the lever for the Constitution Party, the Libertarian Candidate, or even the Republican (provided not a RINO).

Libs need to keep guns away from fellow libs. It ruins them as useful idiots.

It is an automatic M4 Carbine with M203 grenade launcher Which requires TWO NFA tax stamps to own legally.

I'm thinking that's an undercover Freeper, not a dyed in the wool DUmmy.

After giving this further thought, I have drawn some conclusions to add to all the previous replies. This situation is good for several reasons:
1. It separates liberals from more of their money.
2. It increases sales at gun shops, helping spur the economy.
3. Tax revenue increases due to sales.
4. Firearms sales increase, therefore manufacturers produce more guns.
5. When the Dems lose big again in 2006, they have a quick solution- eat a bullet.
Personally, I'm lovin' it!

These pukes will buy cheap guns which will jam when they try and shoot them sideways like the ganstas in the music videos. LOL!

"And won't it be fun to watch the freepers tie their little heads in knots trying to argue that the Second Amendment applies only to them?"

Fools. If only they knew--Karl Rove is arranging for RFID technology to track ALL guns sold from here on out. We'll know who they are, where they are, and how they voted. heh-heh-heh.

"Hey Professor Kaputnik, glad to have you as a new member at Acme Rod & Gun Club. I think you'll like the way we've cooperatively organised -- "

"Like an anarcho-syndicalist commune! Far out!"

"Well, I guess you would know. Now we have some range details that new members must do. Kinda like your share of chores -- "

"From each according to his ability, to each according to he needs! Wow, I knew this was a groovy place."

"Uh, groovy, er yeah. Now, you have to do range cleanup on Sunday mornings when you come up on the roster. And new members need to spend some time as target holders."

"Target holders? That doesn't sound very safe..."

"Trust me!"

No, I would argue they have exactly the right reason. Fear of an overly intrusive, controlling, tyrannical government is exactly the reason for 2A. The fear itself may be slightly irrational in this particular case, but that's irrelevant. In fact, the more armed the citizens are, the more wary the government will be. The only downside I see is that their fears of fender bender shootouts are more realistic when those armed are of the "me first" liberal camp.
