BUSH 2ND TERM ALREADY DOOMED?????
SELF | 11-08-2004 | Captain Peter Blood

Posted on 11/08/2004 7:45:51 PM PST by Captain Peter Blood

Just caught a snippet on CNN with Aaron Brown with a report by Bruce Morton on Second Term Presidents. The Left-Wing media is now starting the drumbeat that since a number of recent second term Presidents starting with Eisenhower and the U2 incident all the way to Clinton and Impeachment that Bush will have some sort of scandal in his second term. That Presidents in second terms always fall far short of their ambitions. The bottom line was that Liberals have nothing to fear from Bush as nothing of any consequence will be accomplished and/or scandal of some kind will bring down and diminish his Presidency. This is what the Hard Left Wingers are putting out and I believe that this is the type of propaganda we will be seeing for the next couple of months.

Why do I get the feeling that Bush's second term is going to be incredibly productive, with again, no significant problems or scandals, and common sense accomplishments that establish this administration as one of America's finest ever?

Only one problem.

These dimwits. How could they ever IMPEACH a president when his party has a good control of both the House and the Senate? They'll try (on Valeri Plame and Abu Graib) but they won't get far. I almost hope they try it, so they can drain money and resources so we can get even stronger for the midterms and pick up even more Senators and Representatives, and seal the deal with a solid Supreme Court (no help from Specter!) by early 2009.

You've made a common mistake of watching liberal CNN and listening to buttwipes like Aaron Brown and Bruce Morton.

Have you seen their ratings lately? It's not that common of a mistake.

No, he isn't doomed.

Yes, they plan to find or more accurately "create" a scandel in hopes it will derail his ability to mark a conservative agenda.

"Conventional wisdom" is nothing more than talking heads sitting about trying to influence the historical future by pre-judging it. I live to turn conventional wisdom on its head, as has been the case the past four years.

The way I see this is that ever since Nixon they have viewed this as their backup strategy in wake of a loss. We destroy its effectiveness when they attempt it against Bush, we sever it's usefulness in future against other Republicans.

They're playing the misunderestimation game again. You'd think they'd figure it out eventually.

Let 'em go! They'll alienate about 50% of the dummy's base and the 2006 congessional races will continue to fall for the republicans. Go left go! You're turning more and more folks against you. That sliver of blue on the west coast will fall off into the ocean! The MSM will surely follow.

it's been some time since a President had a second full term with both houses of Congress under his own party's control.

Truman was the last.

Anything to try and pull President Bush down and to lowball any and all expectations. All of the Old Media will be doing anything they can to find any scandal or issue to try and keep Bush from enacting his second term agenda. The first shots have now been fired.

Haven't you heard? Nobody watches that stuff anymore, just the losers, and they're likely to say anything.

Bush's second term should be called "Bush Unleashed" because now he can do all the stuff he may have been shy about doing in his first term because he knew the scumbag socialist "old media" would beat him up about it relentlessly. Dubya doesn't have to concern himself with the scumbags anymore - - he is free, FREE!!!!

Let the scumbags of the Democrat left chew on THAT for awhile, lol.

While in the car today, I caught just a few minutes of Rush and he played a bunch of sound bites from the weekend talk shows with the libs repeating this garbage. They definitely all got the same fax because their words were nearly verbatim.
