Master Gunnery Sergeant R. Lee Ermey paid a tribute to the Vets today on FOX news, amid all the "Semper Fi's" and tributes, he said (from memory, not transcript):
"Yassir Arafat died today, it's the first thing the French have done right in a while."

Ermey is such a hoot! He's definitely on my fantasy list (not like that) of people to have as guests to a cocktail party.

I saw this. Hey, I'll vote Independent if he would run in 08
He is awesome--reminds me of my Marine dad.

Saw it too. Gunny was probably referring to the fact that the French pulled the Master Terrorist's life support tubes.
Ermey is NO supporter of the french. He is a Marine's Marine and a strong supporter of all of us veterans.
May God bless Gunny F. Lee Ermey.

I still cant get over Ermeys role in Saving Silverman, kissing Jack Black is just too horrible of a site to remember.

I wonder if the French gave Yassir the "courtesy of a ----- around?"

Ermey was great. "Don't mention my name and rank in the same sentence as Michael fat ugly Moore".
