I guess what I am asking is where do you keep the names on your ping list, so they are easily pinged.
Oh, sorry, I wasn't sure what you were asking.
I don't think there's an official way of doing it. You could just save the names to a text file (with commas or semicolons to separate them) and copy and paste them.
It's called NOTEPAD. I'm sure you have that program.
Well if you are running Windows XP, I would recomment the very nice package called Notetab light,,,,,very useful.
I am trying to find something as good for my Linux machine.
I store mine on my profile page...click on my name and you'll see it right at the top. Others store theirs in a word document or somesuch.
I keep my ping lists in notepad on my HD as well. I'm afraid of sticking them in my profile and having some less than (what's that word)... admirable? people use them for purposes other than they've been designated.
I only list the names of the actual lists I keep in my profile. I'm very protective. :)
I REFUSE TO LET MY PINGEES BE ABUSED! Tee hee.
Why don't you just freepmail the names to yourself?
Do it like they said, separating the names with a semi colon, but just mail the list to yourself.
Title it ping list. That way it's private, but readily available even if you aren't at your own computer?
Open it up, copy and paste when you need it.
I don't have a ping list, but that's what I would do.
