A North Huntingdon Township man was critically injured Monday night when he apparently fell onto a knife he was using to dig a vegetable from a garden.
Township police determined that Terry Merz, 58, of 550 Sherrick Drive, accidentally impaled himself on a 10-inch kitchen knife at about 8 p.m. while trying to dig an onion out of a family garden....

It has to be a DUmmie, to lazy to get the gardening shovel out of the drawer next to the knife and to stupid to go to the store and buy there own veggies.

Probably wasn't a dry eye in the house.
Outstanding.
Seriesly though, we grow our own herbs, onions, garlic etc. because we love to have them fresh out of the garden. And due to our late work schedules we frequently don't get started cooking until 7 or later so this is not that unreasonable.
