To save space, I hereby devote this post for all of you who feel compelled to chime in and gripe about duplicate posts. Save the valuable space by placing all such posts here. Thank you.
This is the third time I've seen this post for duplicate poster complainers...
AARRRGGG!!! BLAH BLAH BLAH!! ;)
Oh and be sure to do a search for this post before you carelessly place it in the wrong thread.
What are you saying?
What are you saying?
The real frustration is when you write a LONG reply to a thread that gets pulled. Your material is lost, unless you are careful to cut-and-paste every time you try and submit it.
Great minds think alike :o)
I know what "search" means, but I don't know what "LVM" means. Help me out.
already posted at email@example.com
I'll be waiting for you to post this again at hourly intervals for the next 4 hours.
Many times searches are done but the original thread doesn't appear....yes I know there are many "tricks" of working the search engine, but not everyone(even old timers) know them. We plug in the title under "exact title" or maybe "all words" but it doesn't work out sometimes. As far as I'm concerned, if someone already did the work to post the ...great!..Believe me I share no joy in typing or copying and pasting HTML, as it was something I used to do for a living and was miserable at it. HOWEVER, as someone whose posts get pulled by admin mods for being dupes from time to time, b/c someone busts me...for some reason, when I inform the admin mod that a dupe thread has occured w/ my post...nothing happens.(forgive me just a little bitter)
I'm not sure I can tell you, with all the 'eyes' watching.
Ok, there you have it.
Now, set your Beeber on stun....and prepare for the assult!
All in good fun, mind you. Hugs and kisses all around!
we need a thread for people who whine about people who point out duplicate threads.
Oh wait, is this it????
Time for a new decoder ring.
I find it interesting that something is posted on FR two or three times in the afternoon and can have over 200 posts on the most active post by early that night.
By morning they have all sunk of to page three or four.
Then some sleepy eyed FReeper gets up in the morning and checks the net and his local service for news. He think's he finds something real neat and posts it in Breaking News. Too bad it was something everybody beat to death 12-15 hours before.
This looks like a great thread to try my new tagline.
Say, how do you add a tagline?
