Indeed. Without Maureen O'Hara those who made this list are as credible as the ones that named the Brady Bunch theme best ever TV music score.
Winona Rider????

Sally Field??????
Give me a break.
OTOH Julia Ormand made the list. That is a pleasant surprise.

I have to agree with their selection of Claire Danes for this list.

I am surprised to see a lot of fairly unknown faces, and a lot of 'cute, girl-next-door' types, but not necessarily classic glamour stars.
Always subjective, these lists.
To: pissant
No way. She was
HOT in "Woman of the Year" and "The Philadelphia Story".

Ingrid Bergman. Sure made me want to be Bogart as a kid. Lauren Bacall had the same effect in To Have and Have Not.

"Always subjective, these lists."
The only thing non-subjective is that Maureen O'Hara needs to be included. Thems the facts.

Sally Field was hot during the "Gidget" years...

Ingrid should be number 1. But they should have included Natalie Wood and Rita Hayworth.

Nastassia Kinski's not on the list?

And where is the beautiful Angie Harmon???

I always wondered why my nuns didn't look like Sally Fields in the Flying Nun. I had a bunch of tough old vultures.

Oooh! Good call!
This list is definitely incomplete.
Then again, it's only 30.
There have been hundreds of really beautiful women on the screen.

And let us not forget Paulette Goddard.... -Dan

Another good call.
Angie Harmon should be included.
Has she been in movies, though?
