Yes, I had shot hair the last time I was on a motorcycle.

LOL!

*Once* I tried the "oh-so-cool-and-dramatic-unfettered-hair-flowing-in-the-wind" stunt.
Hours of snarl and rat removal later, I decided to *never* be that "cool" again....;)

A friend of ours rode helmetless on a 60 mile benefit run once and afterwards, I said aren't you gonna comb your hair?!?
He said he would when he got home and could pour a gallon of detangler on it.
He spent the whole day looking like a crazed leather-clad dandelion.

Har!

I have a satin pillow with a zipper closure.
Occasionally I wake up with a charming "Frankenstein" look....:)

I went to her for a "little trim" in the 70s and came home with a Mick Jagger shag....8-O

ROFL. Ouch.

I'm taking Centrum multi-vit, is that not enough B complex? Hair was still falling out by the handfuls until I added biotin. Out of my routine during the holidays, I've been forgetting the biotin and hair started falling out again, but got back on it the last few days and all good again.

"I always wanted to try that but it costs a fortune to have done if you don't know how to do it yourself...:)"

Oh, can't be that expensive. I see women with the hair style using food stamps all the time.

;-)

I meant to say dreadlocks...not corn rolls. It was New Year's eve after all. I know what they look like, but thanks for your pic.

People who are losing their hair should probably avoid it since there is a risk that all the rubbing and friction and tightness of the hair could pull on the scalp and speed up any existing hair loss.

You are certainly right about no one wanting to look at that thing. When you seen her receding hair line, were you looking at her head?

in caucasians constant pulling of the hair into a pony tail or bun can do the same thing.

Only if it's too tight. That's part of the reason mine comes down as soon as it can. I wonder about the total validity of hair falling out this way since the weight of the hair will pull most dos loose.

And nutrition has a lot to do with it.

When I was a little kid, my mom used to braid my hair so tight every morning, it was lunchtime before my eyes stopped being slanted shut and I could see the blackboard. Wore my hair braided or ponytail or bun most of my adult life and I still have more hair than any beautician can figure out what to do with. Maybe it would have been even thicker if I hadn't subjected my head to all the hair yanking.

Oh, God, please let this mean I will not have to look at another man in a pony tail.

Men don't wear ponytails. The hairstyle adopted by George Washington and many of the other founders and heroes of the Revolutionary War was was known as a "Brutus," after the Roman hero of the First Century B.C.

No, you are talking about long hair gently pulled back at the nape of the neck which I don't like but can handle (even if tied with a ribbon like our forefathers). I'm talking "pony tails". Think hair in a band high in the back of the head, sometimes warn through the opening of a ball cap. Ugh! Even women don't wear them anymore.

How much biotin do you take daily?
There is 150 mcg's of biotin in my "Big 150" which is a B complex from GNC.
It has the other B vitamins in it as well.
I found out that if I take the whole mixture of B's I don't get the restless leg syndrome.

Couple years later she gave me a "Toni Tenille".

[my mom made me go to her because she was family]

Try Ultra Nourishair from www.GNC.com

Not only is great for hair, it's just a great multi-vitamin.

Add some extra MSM and you're all set.
