LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Golden Globe nominee Jennifer Garner is sick. "She has a viral infection," publicist Nicole King said Tuesday, adding the "Alias" star isn't hospitalized and is resting at home in Los Angeles.
The 32-year-old actress has been forced to reschedule promotion of her new movie, "Elektra." It was still up in the air whether Garner will appear at Saturday's Las Vegas premiere for the film, King said.
Garner plays an assassin for hire as the resurrected warrior woman in the comic book adaptation "Elektra," a spin-off of her character from 2003's "Daredevil."
She is nominated for a best dramatic actress Golden Globe award for her role in the ABC-TV spy series "Alias." The Hollywood Foreign Press Association will present Golden Globes to winners on Jan. 16.
"Alias" returns for its fourth season with a two-hour special Wednesday.

answer: there are none because it is a gay/drug addict desease and totally preventable, not deserving of the millions of dollars donated to AIDS causes at the expense of other deseases like childhood cancer (they are stealing money from the children!!)

Garner Struck Down with Nerve Damage
The full extent of Daredevil star Jennifer Garner's ailments have been released - she's actually suffering from severe nerve damage. The actress pulled out of promotional work for her new movie Elektra last weekend amid reports she was pregnant with boyfriend Ben Affleck's baby. Her aides insisted she had a viral infection and was trying to recover in time for this Saturday's Elektra premiere in Las Vegas. But now it seems Garner was struck down with a nerve problem resulting from a stunt she performed on the set of her TV show Alias. An insider says, "We all thought she was suffering from a viral infection, but doctors concluded that it was more.
