Reacting to a hazard may take twice as long for a rider in middle age (40 to 54)...

What a crock! Everyone knows that middle age starts at 65. It does, you know, it really does. It does, godammit.

My Uncle rode a Harley until the day he died at age 84 - in a motorcycle accident. A truck pulled out in front of him. It was in no way his fault.

He drove his Harley regularly between Miami, Florida and Chicago, Illinois.

What a load of pure bullsh!t!!

Everyone over 40 that was part of this survey must has been highly medicated on Valium or something similar.

Ageism at it's finest ~ the reason there are more baby boomers killed while riding bikes, is, there are more baby boomers riding bikes.

Boy, those "motorcycle safety activists" never give up, do they.

I haven't seen much post-mortem activity from most of 'em...unlike a couple of scooter drivers I can think of.
