Did anyone notice the reference to the Heritage Foundation being the place where one of the characters on Fox's "24" (Jack Bauer's girlfriend) remebered seeing an anglo terrorist collaborator? I guess the speculation that the evil rich white republicans were behind the attacks weren't too far afield.
Anyone who thinks 24 doesn't have an anti-conservative agenda ain't watching closely. I tuned out during the 1st season for that reason.
I hollered "We're the ones that are watchin' y'all!" when I heard the girl say that she had seen one of the two who are not "Middle Eastern" at the Heritage Foundation.
So far the series has been dead-on in support of the Bush Administration and its policies, down to the dedication of the episode to a soldier killed in Iraq.

I quit watching after the first season.
Sure it was the Heritage Fundation and not the Chemical Heritage Foundation?
Tonight was the best yet, 16 Islamonazis killed. Hopefully, real life will imitate art.
The show is so darn addicting though!!!!!!!!
Shouldn't that have been the right wing Neocons' cabal: The P.N.A.C.?
You have got to be kidding me. It's the white supremacist/Nazi/KKK violence movements that do that stuff. What, they couldn't fish for them for a second, but the Heritage Foundation comes right off the top of their heads?
Does anyone wonder if movies like True Lies or The Siege would even be made today? God forbid we actually have movies about events that are likely to happen. Tim McVeigh is dead. His ideas are, at worst, laying dormant in fertile minds. The Islamists are killing people as I type this. I know which one is currently more villianous.
oh no! fox hates repulicans!!! we need to boycott!!!!one111!!
What offended you about the first season?
Absolutely. I have the same impression as you.
I just finished watching the ep and I didn't read anything sinister into the statement that she recognized the perp from a Heritage Foundation dinner. It was simply the name of the gathering. She saw him there. He's a baddie masquerading as a conservative. So?
Exactly.
"He's a Euro-crapweasle"
enough said.... LOL I could tell from the first sentence out of his mouth.
Exactly what I said to Mrs. Crusher. Missed the teaser, but made the soon-to-be ex-husband as involved with the islamofascists.
Oh, and I forgot about the SecDef's DUmmie son--he's hiding something, too. If the show were to switch from Muslim bad guys to subversive lefie bad guys, then I wouldn't complain.
Nothing
