That's why I thought it was so great when Quaid uncompromisingly blasted her for it and she was totally repentant and broke it off immediately.

Don't know about these movies...but I did really like "Phantom of the Opera!"

..."In Good Comapny" with Dennis Quaid...Did somebody pass a law recently requiring every movie to star Dennis Quaid?? This guy must have a great agent.
We went though this in the 90's when every movie starred Tommy Lee Jones.

You know I really like lemon pie. But you don't see me starting a vanity thread about it. Some people like Diet Coke enemas. Is there a thread on this?

Yes, she was slutty...that's why I thought it was so great when Quaid uncompromisingly blasted her for it and she was totally repentant and broke it off immediately.

I liked Sandler a lot in his golf movie, "Happy Gilmore," but don't have a clue as to his politics. I always assume that arty people are leftists, though.

Anyway, it's a slow Sunday. Are you in the Middle East?
Moshe is that you?

Who's Dennis Quaid? No, don't tell me, I'm pleased with not knowing.

I would have assumed Sandler to be a lefty if there ever was one; however on FR recently someone posted some pro-Repub comments he had made.

Schumachers 'Phantom' was fairly by the book, but enjoyable. Could have used a bit of editing

It's quite refreshing to see someone who has been with FR since 1998 come-up with something so original. I thought conservatives were supposed to be boring, think within the box, follow the plan sort of folks?

Here's a PG one
"I am David" that the whole family can see. Its about a boy fleeing a communist labor camp in Bulgaria & his journey to freedom. Inspirational & educational insofar as it shows the side of communism that many in the USA & west Europe either don't know about or choose to ignore.

I've been considering starting a thread on "Favorite Writing Instruments". I had a Mount Blanc at one time but I've discovered I'm just as happy using a Flair Felt Tip.

I have been looking for "I Am David". So far it hasn't come to my area. Looking forward to seeing it.

Worse vanities have been posted IMO, and at least this one introduces an important issue for most Freepers: The culture war. I have read that some Freepers don't go to movies or watch television anymore. Why not talk about the crap and cream that comes out of Hollywood?
UnFreeper friendly: Despite the advertising that "Racing Stripes" is "Fun for the whole family", I brought my 4-year-old to it and he was tremendously bored by it. I can handle that, but the poop, fart and snot "humor" is not age appropriate for the young ones.

"Luther" on DVD is another great one. My teenage son was initially skeptical about watching it with me & Mrs. 502inf, but he ended up really liking it.

poop, fart and snot "humor" is not age appropriate for the young ones. I agree...I can't stand it either.
