No, not "eat in moderation" ~ I have to exclude whole huge categories of food from my diet otherwise I end up with blood sugar counts in the 300s.
It takes dedicated fanaticism to keep Type II diabetes under control.
Oh, I didn't realize you were diabetic. I was speaking for myself. I might snack to much on sugary stuff, to tell the truth, but I keep away from Soda, most of the time (drink it about once every two to four days) and eat twice a day (all I really need). I think I run off of about a 2,000 to 2,500 calory diet. I'm 5'10", 201 lbs (now my thick skull might make up about 30lb of that :0) ) and have a 33" waist. I exercise about three to four times a week, lots of weight lifting, usually to muscle fatigue.
The exercise tends to speed up my metabolism and burn more calories.
