What do you mean by "I was in Breaking News when I posted?" I clicked "post", and filled out the fields. I checked off only the boxes I mentioned and not breaking news.

Topics themselves don't dictate where the thread will be posted--you do. And if the thread is in an inappropriate area, the Mighty Mods will move it for you.
