>Isn't Lohan younger than one of his daughters?

I think most of us
think of these things from the guy's
viewpoint -- an old guy

getting frisky with
a young hottie. But one song's
about a young guy:

Just like the white winged dove sings a song
Sounds like she's singing...
whoo...whoo...whoo
Just like the white winged dove sings a song
Sounds like she's singing...
ooo...baby...ooo...said ooo

And the days go by like a strand in the wind
In the web that is my own I begin again
Said to my friend, baby,
Nothin' else mattered

He was no more than a baby then
Well he seemed broken hearted, something within him
But the moment that I first laid
Eyes on him, all alone
On the edge of seventeen . . .

Just like the white winged dove sings a song
Sounds like she's singing
whoo...whoo...whoo
Just like the white winged dove sings a song
Sounds like she's singing
ooo...baby...ooo...said ooo

I went today. Maybe I will go again tomorrow
And the music there, it was hauntingly familiar
And I see you doing what I try to do for me
With the words from a poet and the voice from a choir
And a melody...
Nothing else mattered

Just like the white winged dove sings a song
Sounds like she's singing
whoo...whoo...whoo
Just like the white winged dove sings a song
Sounds like she's singing
ooo...baby...ooo...said ooo

The clouds never expect it
When it rains
But the sea
Changes colours
But the sea
Does not change

And so with the slow, graceful flow of age
I went forth with an age old desire to please
On the edge of seventeen

Just like the white winged dove sings a song
Sounds like she's singing
whoo...whoo...whoo
Just like the white winged dove sings a song
Sounds like she's singing
ooo...baby...ooo...said ooo

Well then suddenly there was no one left standing
In the hall -- yeah, yeah
And a flood of tears
That no one really ever heard fall at all
Oh, I went searchin' for an answer
Up the stairs and down the hall
Not to find an answer, just to hear the call
Of a nightbird, singing "Come away...come away..."

Just like the white winged dove sings a song
Sounds like she's singing
whoo...whoo...whoo
Just like the white winged dove sings a song
Sounds like she's singing
ooo...baby...ooo...said ooo

Well I hear you in the morning and I hear you
At nightfall. Sometime to be near you
Is to be unable to hear you,
My love.
I'm a few years older than you . . .
I'm a few years older than you, my love . . .

Just like the white winged dove sings a song
Sounds like she's singing
ooo baby...ooo...said ooo

Just like the white winged dove sings a song
Sounds like she's singing
ooo baby...ooo...said ooo . . .

Demi Moore theme song?

Seriously, I heard that song plenty of times in my wasted youth, but I couldn't have told you what it was about to save my life. Oooh, oooh, oooh ...

The lyrics seem clear,
but, like everything Stevie,
I've just learned it's not.

She explains the song
over here. It's not really
about what it seems.

(Damn. Every darn time
I read Stevie explain songs,
I'm sorry I did!)

Hey, I'm not yet 50, and if I were bald, undertalented, and rich, I'd hit on her, even if she is quite damaged goods from a dysfunctional family.

>Sad

I don't think she's sad.
I don't think she's damaged goods.
I think she's a teen

who's got the whole world
by the tail, and she knows it.
If you shine a light

on my family, well,
things aren't perfect, either.
No one's family is.

And I have seen two
of this girl's movies, and I
not only liked them,

but I thought she did
a darn fine job making films
that were really fun.

I don't know anything about her family, nor have I seen her movies. But as a little old Southern church lady, I think it's sad for a young woman to run around showing a tattoo'd rear.

her rep denies that there's any relationship, other than LL's wanting the Die Hard star to produce an upcoming movie. Of course, if she produces his fourth child, that's got to grease the skids a little. ;'D
