I never saw the Junior Idol show. I don't remember ever even hearing of it before you guys were talking about it last night.

To put it mildly.
Imagine a contest filled JonBenets (both male and female). Along with they're insanely obsessive parents demanding perfection from those kids ... It was a mess.
I agree with GSC, an "all-star" Idol would be a better idea.
Now, I think the best idol singer ever sang on Junior Idol and was totally wasted -- Lucy Hale.
She should have waited for the real thing.
She was consistently excellent.
