For those of you going to pro-American rallies this weekend to oppose the A.N.S.W.E.R. anti-Americans, start working on your slogans and chants.
ON THIS THREAD are a few songs you might enjoy.
For chants, here is the first one I'll contribute ---
.
YOU ARE FOOLS...THAT'S OKAY...WE'LL SPREAD FREEDOM ANYWAY
America F--k Yeah!!
I know some UCR College Republicans plan to crash a few of the protest this weekend. Their website is here where you can find some great pictures of them crashing another protest set up by idiots last Wednesday. Unfortunately, I'm going home this weekend for Spring Break so I can't join them. But I bet some great pictures will be coming this Friday (Riverside) and Saturday (Hollywood) by them!

"FREEDOM IS NOT FOR THE TIMID." -- posted as an announcement outside a Unitarian Church in Texas on Sept. 17, 2001
"History does not long entrust the care of freedom to the weak or the timid." -- Dwight D. Eisenhower, First Inaugural Address, Jan. 20, 1953
"The future doesn't belong to the faint-hearted. It belongs to the brave." -- Ronald Reagan
"The battle, sir, is not to the strong alone; it is to the vigilant, the active, the brave." -- Patrick Henry
Those are certainly great words, but they don't work out on the street when you are getting in the protestors' faces.
I can't remember which FReeper coined this new Dem motto last night: Kill a Baby, Save a Seal.
Or something to that effect.
YOUR HANDS IN THE AIR, YOUR HEADS IN THE SAND
YOU CAN'T BE TRUSTED TO GOVERN THIS LAND
I would have had their head somewhere else. :)
Ooops. So sorry. Was thinking of signage.
This one is excellent, DUpland! LOL!!
How about that old classic, the U-G-L-Y cheer?
As you say the 4 letters, shape them with your hands (for a capital G, curve one hand around like a "C" while the other hand is a short vertical line pointing up). It goes like this:
U! (pause)
G! (pause)
L! (pause)
Y! (pause)
You ain't got no a - li - bi!
You UGLY! (pause)
Hey! Hey! Hey!
You UGLY!
Misc. notes: During the "alibi" line, cup hands around mouth. During both of the "You UGLY!" lines, point twice at them with exaggerated hand swings. During the "Hey Hey Hey!" line, clap on the offbeats while you slowly spin around once - you should get 3 claps in.
Practice it in front of a mirror a few times. It's very rhythmic, with 13 beats and 13 offbeats (beats are on U! G! L! Y! You got al bi UG (pause) Hey Hey UG)
Believe me, it's hilarious!
Sounds good.
