THEY ALREADY DO!!! Garden City, KS, an illegal alien shot and killed his wife. Then turned the gun on himself, ooops, missed the important part. PVS in the local hospital at the county's expense. The sherif's department didn't want to actually charge him with the murder if his wife because then the bill would be on their budget. FINALLY, the couple's children got him transferred to a hospital in Mexico where he died. (shocking) Lot's of tears at the funeral, I'm sure.
How much money is being spent on the medical care of illegals in jails and prisons, when these guys should be sent back to their home country and warehoused there?
Don't know about that -- I do know when her mother tried to put an ice chip in her mouth a couple of years ago, she was bodily removed by Terri's "guards" and then barred for quite some time per Loving Husband's request.

I heard MoDo on @nus in the morning's radio program complaining about the Repubs parading a sick woman around for political purposes. Funny that she never complained when Sarah Brady was wheeling Jim Brady around like a hot dog vendor's cart to every committe meeting, fund raiser and DemonRat convention. Not to mention Christopher Reeve.
Furthermore it's not the Repubs that are fretting about puttin underwear on Terrorists heads or putting watering stations along the boarders to help illegal immigrants.

Then this is not a case of letting her die "naturally" anymore than purposefully locking someone in a cell and not feeding them until they die. It's not much different than putting a bullet in her head except the bullet would be faster and less painful.

It's just more of the
politicalization
of our entire life.
If we look around,
the big divisions today
might not be Left/Right,
but rather people
who approve of government
intervention if
it favors their cause,
versus people who don't want
government acting
outside its "normal"
"sphere" -- but the problem here is
there always will be
enough people both
on the Left and on the Right
who think their beliefs
are so important
that they must allow the Feds
to stick their claws in.
(Of course, who can say
once those claws are in, they will
be fully withdrawn?!)
There are no words to describe the contempt one feels for the caretaker who would condemn a human to that type of ruination. Her hands might never be normal now. A few minutes a week would have prevented the damage.
And what kind of nutcase puts a human in hospice for years and years. Hospice is a 6 month, end of life facility. It's a death house. Not a long term residence/home. What is going on here? What's really going on?
We do better for hardened criminals and animals.
Even looking to
"professionals" can get weird.
I mean, the Nazis
had "professionals"
advising them from their schools
and medical worlds.
And look what they did.
One culture's "professional"
is another's nut.
I really think we
have to empower and trust
"normal" citizens
to make their own choice
without justifying it
to "professionals"
or politicians.
But already so many
on the Left and Right
seem to have embraced
the whole gate-keeper viewpoint
(and just disagree
on what kind of folk
should be gate-keepers) I think
real freedom is gone.
Would you trust your wife?
That's what I was driving at.
If I were married
and if I were hurt,
I'd want my wife to decide
on her own without
her needing to get
"approval" from anyone
or justify her
thinking to any
gate-keeper type, or nosy
do-gooder stranger.
Yes, I would want my wife to make the final decision based upon a professionals diagnosis.
