I'll leave it to others to fill in the rest of the cast of characters and point out the similarities and disimilarities with the analogy. Since the story is not finished the actors can still affect the outcome.

Noah? Is it true that you are the guy who invited binary arithmatic?

I was just telling my wife that if you examine a human being under a microscope, cell by cell, one at a time for all the zillions of cells of the human body, you will find that they look remarkably like all other biological cells.

You would not discover what "makes" someone human -- but you would discover what "unmakes" a human being. That type of microscopic examination would leave an un-alive pile of formerly human tissue -- similar to the process of modern adjudication and judicial review.
