As many on FR know I happen to work for a Florida newspaper and have scooped out some stories weeks in advance. Well info has come along that Michael Schiavo is in talks with believe it or not an agent to handle media matters relating to his selling the rights to the story that is currently raking in massive numbers for cable news...his wife Terri's starvation.
The story is coming together but remember where you heard it first. Michael is already having to field offers between 1-2 million dollars for TV and Film and 1-2 million for book rights.
There is quiet bidding going on behind the scenes....stay tuned...this story will indeed grow more vile than anyone could have thought.
Gag. This is beyond horrid. Not unexpected however.

If you think that is sick, consider this: There are enough people out there that would actually want to "read the book" or "see the movie" that it makes publishers and mocie studios rub their hands with glee at the thought of all the money to come their way.
Michael may be sick for what he is doing, but you know who is even sicker? The American public, and the media that sells the crap to the American Public.
This mess all began when Michael refused their demand for 50% of the malpractice settlement and they've been wrestling for Terri's slowing dying body ever since.
Two years in, her own mother said in court filings that Michael should be allowed to date other women. Now his having 'moved on' with a life is being used to smear him and insinuate he's tried to murder her. They're depraved and grossly manipulative people. Terri's a pawn in the age old struggle over feelings of entitlement and cold hard case.
This Schiavo creature is beneath contempt!
Let's just hope the Schindlers, once past their grief and anger will cash in as well. Sounds crude, but if it is good for the gander ...

No question about it. You are 100% correct. The thing is..the Schindlers do not have an "agent" per-say. But it is pretty much a given that their story will be up for grabs as well.

I would have read a story by the Schindlers, about their ordeal to save their daughter from the ghoul.
It still hurts --- to think of the Schindlers having to get "permission" to be with their little girl in her dying hours....

SOrry dear.....MR and MRS SCHINDLER WERE PAYING FOR ALL OF IT, and WHAT IS MORE, SHE WAS IMPROVING.....AND MICHAEL WAS ALL LOVE AND ROSES, TOOK HER TO MALLS, TOOK PHOTOS OF HER FOR THE JURY ETC., HAD HER HAIR DONE, HAD HER IN REHABILITATION AND SHE WAS LOOKING GOOD! And no wonder. She had a LIFE! She got to feel the sunshine on her face, she got to go places, she was NOT HIDDEN away as he did after getting the money, when he DECIDED she could have only visitors he approved, no flowers or gifts, NO OUTINGS, just a cold room so that her SPIRIT WOULD BE CRUSHED (speed up death, donchaknow!)
SO GOOD that he PROMISED the JURY that as he got the money, HE PROMISED, in COURT TESTIMONY, that he would use all of the money to take care of TERRI for the REST of her LONG LIFE, as projected at the time of the TRIAL. Oh yeah...HE DID.

While Congress passed a bill, signed by the President, to grant Terri’s parents the ability to have her case reviewed “de novo” in federal court, federal judges at every level chose to ignore the will of Congress, and refused to give Terri’s case a fresh look. This has perpetrated a gross injustice that potentially affects us all.
Renegade courts have now reached a stage of crisis. My wife and I voted for George W. Bush in 2000 primarily for the purpose of turning the federal courts around. We supported Republican candidates in 2002 for the same reason. And we worked for, and financially supported Pres. Bush’s re-election in 2004, along with other congressional Republican candidates, again, for the same reason. Over the course of four years nothing has been done to change the direction of the federal courts. The Democrats in the Senate continue to obstruct the President’s nominees through an unconstitutional filibuster, while Republicans are trying to find enough of a backbone among their 55 members to challenge that obstruction.
