you have no idea how many times I used to hear the beginning thinking a Queen song was coming on and it was that vanilla ice song.

BTW some of the songs on that list aren't that bad. I agree. What's wrong with the "Blue Swede" version of "Hooked on a Feeling"?
It sure beats the crap out of the BJ Thomas version.
I mean...c'mon! "Hooka Chaka...hooka, hooka, hooka chaka..."

Lola was the Kinks and I like that song. So what if Lola was a cross dresser.
"Now I'm not the worlds most masculine man, but I know what I am, and a man is what I am and so is Lola." The kinks performed this in front of the Queen of England. She was not impressed. I almost wet my pants laughing.

Ditto that!
I love Lynyrd Skynyrd, but can't stand Free Bird.
Seeing it in concert almost ruined the whole show for me.
*Yawn*

No need for sympathy...it's a good song.
I pretty much like anything by Skynard.

How such a list could be complied without this escapes me...

I love William Shatner's Mr. Tambourine Man. I don't count songs that aren't meant to be serious in the first place.
To: hattend
I pretty much dislike anything by Skynyrd, so we're even. Keep smiling!

I know operators are standing by. Where, oh where, can that FANTASTIC CD be found! The first thing I thought of when I saw that was those dreadful K-Tel compliations they used to advertise on TV. I'll date myself here by saying that I remember that you could get the albums on LP, cassette or eight-track tape.

"Dancin' on the Ceiling" by Lionel Richie
"Tonight, Tonight, Tonight" by Phil Collins (and just about everything he made after it)
