So it works well....I live in a very samll town in the Panhandle, we have cable modems and wireless net but not sure about DSL.........will have to check that one too........:o)

DSL is too slow....I have Adelphia and they just increase download speed to 4 Mbps....course bandwidth tester ...just ran it... says I am only getting 2.0 Mbps...

DSL is the most secure high speed connection to the Internet you can have due to the point to point protocols it uses between the modem and DSLAM. Cable Internet doesn't provide such security(in most cases). Cable is more like shared Ethernet on a WAN scale.

DSL is also a dedicated service and will never slow down under normal operating conditions, and you will get what you are paying for every time you use it, unlike cable.
