Good morning.
I'm just now watching FOX talk about the Pope's accomplishments. Very great man.

Morning!
I saw a good part of the funeral Mass. It was one of the most inspiring moments in my lifetime.
As they carried Pope John Paul The Great out of the Basilica, the crowd clapped and just exploded with profound love and respect for this wonderful man. It brought tears to my eyes.

GOOD A.M. TO ALL FROM THE MISSISSIPPI GULF COAST, USA!!!!
Sorry bout that Chair. I missed and got ole Paw Paw instead.
You are so right Chair, so impressive was the funeral. So much tradition,
In the 70's here today, more concreting fence posts, more sore muscles tomorrow which will be added onto the ones from yesterday and I STILL have to get my garden tilled.
Right now I am going to get me a big ole bowl of grits for breakfast and by the way, where did that word come from anyhow, break fast.

I have been up since 2. I watched the whole thing. Very moving and the emotion of the crowd was felt through the TV.

The casket had a book lying on top of it and as the wind blew the pages it was very inspiring.

Cardinal Ratzinger?
I saw him give the homily. The prayers of the faithful was inspiring. Many from different countries came up and spoke in their native tongue.
Apparently Der Schlickmeister was interviewed by Katie Couric and was just asked how will the Pope rank in the 20th Century in regards to great leaders. Slick Willie completely dodged the question and said something to the effect that, "He knew how to work a crowd." Amazing...
To: kassie
I think it was Cardinal Ratzinger who was the main celebrator...is that the right word? Groggy still...

The word that's used would be celebrant. ;)
It was incredible... beyond description...

I thought it was Cardinal Ratzinger, but wasn't sure. I slept in until 6:00 this morning. I missed everything.

To: kassie
Well, I am going to go back to bed for a couple of hours. I have a lot of work to do today but as tired as I am now I won't be worth anything.
I believe the funeral will be re-aired on C-SPAN, Fox, and EWTN.

Typical from Bubba I suppose. On-camera face time is the only means of reference he uses to relate to the world.
Good morning everybody.
