I'm a huge fan of those old "Superfriends" cartoons. I wish they'd make a movie about the Green Lantern, or Aquaman for that matter. Somehow a "Wonder Twins" movie doesn't excite me.

David Schwimmer is too much of a putz to be in any kind of action movie (aside from soft core gay porn, I guess, in which case NBC would pick it up and run it after Will and Grace).

Well, at least the Wonder Twins were a significant upgrade over Marvin and Wendy and their stupid dog.

I disagree with Schwimmer and Ricci as the twins, however. A better pair would be Jennifer Garner & Ashton Kutchner.

What really makes me mad is how they ruined the Superfriends DVD.

It was supposed to have all the classic episodes on it but instead has about one or two of them and the rest is a bunch of commentary and filler. Kinda reminds me of how they treated the Three Stooges. You can never find a complete DVD compilation of the Stooges, with all their original shorts remastered. Instead you get maybe a half-dozen episodes here and there separately, with again stupid commentary from Hollywood no-nothings such as Woody Harrelson.
