Vietnam will do that to you. 1970s America will do it even worse, for those who come back alive. I don't think you should judge.

I do not respect any "gentle_man" for that title alone, in fact, I frown upon the man who wears panties and expects my admiration for it.

Maybe not. I wasn't in Viet Nam. However, I have always had the deepest respect for those who serve our country.

If this man had spat on her book and then stood bravely for whatever came of it, fine. I can understand the anger of a veteran of any war toward Jane Fonda. She is a despicable human being. But to assault a sitting, elderly woman is unnacceptable, in my opinion.
