The only quibble I have with her routine is that she told some fairly ribald jokes with Elizabeth Smart right there in the audience. Perhaps not the best sense of judgement, although in an adult-only setting the jokes were fine. And god knows you'll hear raunchier stuff just walking past a high-school. Nevertheless, not sure it's good form to tell those kinds of jokes in front of a young woman who was kidnapped and sexually assaulted in the past year.
I hear ya and understand where you are coming from. Just prepare yourself for the bashing and trashing you will probably receive.....please know that most on FR respect your opinion and understand that not everyone sees a joke in the same way.

I have no idea why should would have been there anyway. Roasts are known to be raunchy, they are for grown-ups.

Well, good luck. The DPs will be around promptly to harass you just like they do to anyone who ever dares to question anything that the Bushes do. Then they'll try and group you in with folks who utter profanities about the Bushes, which of course you will never have done. That doesn't matter with these folks, though. After that, they'll make fun of your religion and generally throw out epithets at you. You see, apparently the GOP is a Big Tent, except that they only want themselves in it.
