The Gift
Sleep, soft it comes on cat's paw feet
to wrap around you in softest caress,
and set you adrift on a dreamer's sea,
in a boat of your own memories sweet.
Images in colors and shapes so fleet,
brightly set as only dreams may dress,
come to show you all that just might be,
all you can dream waits on you to greet.

Best way to start the day, a group poem!
I'll start, and everyone adds a verse.
Only rules, three line verse, and be SILLY!
Dawn, comes too soon,
and wakes me with glare,
knowing I'd rather sleep till noon!
I slept to noon one lonely day
the sun was not out there to play
so I stayed snuggled in the hay
and watched a spider spin a web
a silken pillow for my head.
nice but can you arrange them in three line verse?
