Northeast Utilities ^ | 5/10/2005

Posted on 05/10/2005 11:10:38 AM PDT by Calpernia

This cam only allows 10 minutes for viewing at a time. Worth bookmarking and coming back to if you can't get a view now.

Live Cam

So far, I've seen one adult eagle and one eaglet.

Hope you enjoy!

I saw one flying over my pool last summer. They have 2 breeding pairs in my county in northern NJ. It is a sight to see.

Hey cool! is this the same nest in Auburn WA we watched last year? The camera angle is different and I haven't checked the link so it's a lazy question. It was really addicting.

I remember watching that cam last year.

And thank you for posting it last year :)

This is a NJ Cam. We are getting an eagle population back!

They were still around like crazy five years ago, soaring behind the ship. Man, it was soooo coool. Like crows, only better.

Hm, that didn't come out right.

It was...just gorgeous birds....I spent a half day ( while the wife and daughters were touring yet another Indian museum) at the Alaska Raptor rehab center..where the injured eagles and other raptors are rehabbed and released..I got to hold a juvenile bird, with a broken wing, while they were changng his bandages. Amazing how light they are..yet the size and power of the talons and beak is hard to describe. So, I've been "sponsorng " a bird for over ten years now...it's a wonderful cause..
