I volunteered, and I'm in Ohio.

LOL!

I gave up a good part of the NFL draft to make phone calls to PA Republican primary voters. The Toomey people sent me a list to call.

Good for you! That IS a sacrifice (I'm serious--I'm a Broncos fan).

I'm sorry for laughing at your previous post--I thought you meant you'd volunteered to take Specter's place.

A Broncos fan? Well I don't think you will have a very good year seeing as your team picked up most of Cleveland's defense....Then again maybe they'll all get good since they are now out of town.

LOL. Nope. I don't do carpetbagging and I'm ineligable to run for Senate for another year. Not that there is any chance of me running.

Darn, I was just starting to draw up some nice original posters. I thought "Vote for dubya" would work.

I know. It's so depressing. It just hasn't been the same since Big John retired.

Good to see.I would have voted for Toomey if I lived there.

Back in 2002, Mike Rogers led a group of Michigan volunteers for a South Bend (borders MI) based seat. Tim Roemer(D) retired, and Chris Chiccola(R) (who barely lost to Roemer in 02) beat Jill Long Thompson(D) by 9000 votes. It was the closest swing seat to us.
