Stone, 58, was arrested Friday night at a police checkpoint on Sunset Boulevard after showing signs of alcohol intoxication, police Sgt. John Edmundson said. A search of his Mercedes turned up drugs, Edmundson said. He did not specify what kind, but Lt. Micaela Garland said police confiscated pills that were being analyzed at a lab.

This episode of cops will be very interesting, but not as interesting as the movie that will follow.

I hope they sentence him to never make another leftist distortion of history movie.

They didn't mention his way cool movie "Alexander the Gay" in the Post article.
Maybe Oliver was trying to forget that one.
They still have a way cool website promoting the movie, but the only person I know who saw it walked out. And he was not alone.

Bush was on the grassy knoll and, the arresting officer once had lunch in the same city as Karl Rove!!!! ......Connect the dots Man.....Dick Cheney was the second gunman.
Or so the upcoming Oliver Stone movie on the Vast right wing conspiracy to discredit him and keep him from reavling that it really was space aliens that got the Kennedys Proving that the UFOs are a part of the vast right-wing conspiracy and responsively for abducting thousands of Florida Ballots for AL Gore
Drugs.....That explains the plot lines of his movies

Get a load of Oliver's latest planned movies, from www.imdb.com:
"As of 2004, Oliver stone is attached to direct several projects. "Spite House", which he wrote and will direct about Vietnam. "The Fountainhead", based on the Ayn Rand novel. "Lennon", a biopic of John Lennon, and a biopic of Margaret Thatcher, and a biopic of sorts about an attempted assassination plot by the Republican party against FDR in the 1930s. "

He was going to do an adapation of "Brought to Light" or a similar work in 1987/88 but dropped it when he realized that he would not get it completed/distributed in time for the 1988 Bush campaign and election.

That creep lacks the mental acumen to sit in the same room as an old ragged copy of "The Fountainhead", never mind direct a movie based on Ayn's work.
Like what happened to Hubbards "Battlefield Earth", I smell another Hollywood demolition project in the making.
It takes time and money to turn a great work of art into trash, and I have no doubt that this dog (Oldiver Stoner) has both in abundance.
Lennon "imagined all the people", and sadly met one of them. Too bad for the man who was more popular than Jesus. Howard Rourke would ignore Oldiver; apparently I lack his direction. The sad part is that Howard lives, and Stoner has been dead for decades... Now a dead man shall kill a man who never physically lived..?

When Wall Street came out, which I loved BTW, it was revealed that he and his writing partner would travel to Costa Rica when they were working on a script, and basically they would write in an isolated haze of pot smoke.
Based on that, this came as no surprise.

Keep in mind Battlefield Earth was destroyed because it was produced by a team of Scientologists, most of whom had no skill or experience.

Like what happened to Hubbards "Battlefield Earth", I smell another Hollywood demolition project in the making "Battlefield Earth II" is now in the planning stages.
This time, to save time, they are just going to pile up $250,000,000 and set fire to it. ;)

Hubbards "Mission Earth" books were a howl, especially for those who love the UN and the federals. I read about the first million words and left Jettero Heller somewhere in a Manhattan brothel... Only nine million words to go, should I ever find book V.
Scientology is a joke, the only thing funnier are those nitwits shedding their cash to release their "engrams".
I do admire Hubbard, if only for the fact that he is the first man to die and take it with him. His fiction was vastly more clever than his "Dianetics", of which I read about the first chapter.
BTW, Scientology was created over a bet in a bar, Hubbard won the bet... And today there are thousands of elite nitwit followers lining up to relieve themselves,s of their cash.
