What was the dang show where, these folks working in a garbage dump built a rocket to fly to the moon and junk...they would fly the rocket to pull an iceberg to provide water...ect...do you all remember that show...lasted 2 seasons, I think.

Sis did a lot of macreme...she made those pot hangers. At the time, we thought it was cool, and sis had talent. Now we know better. Charlie's Angles and Love Boat were great for younge red-blooded american males.

"Polyester" came out in the early 1980s (81?) but really it is a film of the 1970s (looks like it was based on every calamity of "After School Specials").
In the end, the daughter strangles one of her mother's attackers with some macrame.
Another catch all film of the 1970s is The Spirit Of 76 (about time travellers who go back to 1976 instead of 1776).
And then there are the REAL films of the 1970s that manage to capture the essence of the era.
