We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Good morning!!
Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
The trial of Saddam is expected to begin in two months.
The Supreme Court tossed the conviction of the Arthur Anderson acounting firm in the destruction of Enron records, saying jury instructions were too broad. The Government is considering whether to retry the case.
Some Muslims in captivity in Gitmo are now claiming they were sold into American bondage by Pakistani tribesman.
Tom DeLay has promised that funding NASA for manned missions to Mars and the Moon will be priorities.
And eko-wackos have declared that man is thretening the existence of 20 percent of the planets species of birds.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
Liddy was more circumspect, but I think he will say more as the days pass by.
I will not allow the media to portray this guy as a hero. He broke the law.
Somehow, I get the feeling there is more to this...such as another "unnamed source" suddenly materializing in the Post with stories about President Bush that are very damaging.
The President has lots of powerful enemies who want him out of office. As I have said before, I think he and Cheney are very brave men.
I really enjoyed Tony Blankley's "Great Reaction" op-ed.
I recommend people read the whole WashTimes article, but my comments, in part, on the thread may be enough:
---->
Great op-ed by Tony. Probably the best item yet written to educate people who haven't been following this particular issue, but who understand politics in general.
His, "...mixed explanations. After our 2004 presidential elections, President Bush's victory was attributed..." section makes it clear there is no single reason (and there isn't); his hit on Chirac's failure, "...to even begin explaining to the French that they cannot forever enjoy high social benefits as they become ever less productive..." is dead on and could be applied to many other EU wannabes; he infers correctly he could go on for many more inches about the opposing reasons.
I think his best line is, "Those different explanations point to starkly different almost opposite long-term implications of the vote." THIS pinpoints the problem they are going to have. "Meanwhile the remorselessly hopeful Italian Foreign Minister..." continues his "cheerful blindness to grim reality that has given the Italians their beautiful souls."

Your other articles are good reads, too. Thanks
Oh I will Miss Marple and thank you. Oddball lot? Sounds like my kinda people.......*~*.
I subscribe to Colson's "Breakpoint" - a one-page nearly daily EMail that melds today's politics and fairly evangelical religious thought - an outgrowth of his prison ministry. It is one of the three regular EMails I've decided to continue - and I recommend it. (People can take a look here, if you like: http://www.breakpoint.org - my several years' experience is that they don't abuse having your EMail, etc.)
So far, Colson has not yet commented on this in that note (and he may not) but I suspect he will sometime soon. Can you tell me more or less what he said on Today?
I didn't hear it, only what was reported on governsleastgovernsbest's thread. (He monitors the Today Show every morning.) Colson and Buchanan were on. I will get the link for you.
Thanks everyone for the links and comments about Felt. With four kids visiting, I've had a hard time keeping up with this story but the comments here have helped.
It's fascinating that the media treated Linda Tripp like a leper but are treating Felt like a hero.
Be sure to read down through the comments, as additional information is supplied by people who posted on the thread.
NP: if it's on FR, I'll find it. I was looking on the rest of the web just now... thanks for the heads up.
you beat me... thanks
Wow, did that push Warren's hot button ! He told her she didn't have a good understanding of Watergate (apparently he fancies himself an expert) and she told him that he was ignoring the fact that the Washington Post had as much as admitted that without Felt there was no real story, because now they were trying to point to all of the OTHER investigating they did on the case! Hahahah!
As an aside, I think that Tammy MUST be reading FR, since I have seen this theory advanced by a couple of freepers.
They were discussing Dan Rather and Memogate.
Former First Lady Barbara said, ' I wouldn't walk across the street to shake his hand and he wouldn' t mine...he couldn't catch me.'
I nearly bust a gut laughing. Her candor is wonderful. LOL
Jane I'm going to have to get ready for work...ping me to anything interesting.
