There is wild scrub, I can't remember what it is called know that is in bloom now and has tons of little flowers that perfume the whole trail at the park.....just heavenly!
Incidentally, if you like raspberries, LET ME KNOW! We have a thicket of canes that I cleaned out at the end of winter. They are everbearing, so they fruit in the late spring and again through fall. Last year we froze five pounds of berries, gave a few pounds away, and ate a few pounds right off the canes. I have counted sixty new canes which will bear fruit this fall. I'm going to be overwhelmed with berries in the very near future. If you want to stop by and pick some up, let me know--I'll get them the night before for you. They're delicious!
