After hearing from SSG Chad in Bravo Company, I found out there might be a need for our troops to use something other than Hobbit Hole knives to cut off the plastic restraints used on hajis. I sent him some EMT snips and Camillus seatbelt cutters for trial.
I also got some of these, ASP restraint cutters. They're shown next to a Camillus seatbelt knife.
They're compact, and compound leverage pierces and cuts the restraint, while the cutter is safely shrouded. Some of them will be mailed out ASAP.
